Should the USA conduct a Punitive Expedition into Mexico again to punish it?

Mexico is invading our country one militia member at a time and it's army is routinely invading the USA and kidnapping US Citizens and protecting drug shipments.

Why don't we conduct a Punitive Expedition into Mexico to punish it like we did in the past?

Answer:
If we laid a 500 yd wide mine field from Tijuana to Brownsville...We wouldn't need an intrusion
Why ruin a good thing? Their is MORE American tourist dollars spent in Mexico, than any other foreign country.
Sounds good!
Where do I sign up?
Interesting idea but we also failed to catch Pancho Villa during that incursion. Still - there are other ways to greatly reduce this flood & IT IS a flood. We can pull back 1 - 2 miles along our own border & declare it a free-fire zone. motion & heat sensors as well as unmanned drones can warn us of nost crossings. Minefields will be laid & troops will be deployed & WILL fire without warning on ANY person or persons attempting to cross. Sound cruel or far-fetched? How much is America worth defending to you?
Don't have to... most of the population is coming here.
What color is the sky on YOUR planet? You have no clue about how global economy works. All of the people who are bitching about illegal immigrants are the same people who who cry hardest if they suddenly had to pay more for the goods and services provided by these people at a much lower cost than if provided by American labor. Go to the market. Produce would double in price. Go to any restaurant or hotel prices would be much higher. Move into any new apartment building, the rent would be $100 to 350/month HIGHER without this labor. Domestic gasoline would be much more expensive, because most laborers in Texas oilfields are Mexican. If your trash is picked up by a private company, your rates would be 25-33% higher if not for the Mexicans who get up at 4Am to get the work done. Is your newspaper delivered before 7AM? Bet it ain't a kid on a bicycle, but rather a Mexican in a pickup truck. Think before you speak.
No. The pending legislation in many states across this land will work effectively to deny the criminals public benefits, employment and freedom of passage, once the laws are in place, and properly enforced, the resulting self- repatriation will be swift.
The best punishment will be to watch how the Mexican government will handle the massive influx of its poorest citizens, wanting the same type of lifestyle they have enjoyed in America for generations.
I can hardly wait for the televised version.
There was no government of Mexico then - it was total anarchy with one warlord after another calling himself president. When a small time warlord invaded US territory for some extra cash and killed those in his way, there was nobody other then the USA that could hunt him down. It was to punish Poncho Villa; not Mexico. I still wonder how the Mexican government would react if thousands of Americans came to Mexico and demanded free housing, healthcare, and living expenses while making Mexicans not wanting to do certain jobs anymore because the Americans would do it for less.
A limited incursion into Mexico to assert the sovereignty of our border, should not be taken off the table!
