Can the taxpayers really afford amnesty? Remember the cost of German unification!?

The unification of Germany almost bankrupt Germany. And they were family members. Whereas illegal aliens are criminals of the lowest kind.

Can we, the taxpayers, really afford the costs associated with Amnesty?

And the "up to $5,000.00" fine mantra is just political lies. No one pays the maximum immigration fine now, so why would they start doing so now?

Answer:
It will cost 2.5 trillion dollars, according to The Heritage Foundation. See my source cited.

Hey, who cares if we can afford it, it will bring these people "out of the shadows," says Arlen (Single-Bullet Theory) Specter. Won't that be heartwarming? Of course for the $200,000 per person in social services we could more easily afford to deport them.
Let's see - $2.5 TRILLION just for the illegals retirement & medicare PLUS an estimated $.5 million for EACH illegal over their lifetime.

And since many of the illegals are poor and unskilled they won't be contributing much into the system. Americans contribute all their working lifetimes and the system is going bankrupt.

But there's the $5,000 they put in when they apply for citizenship. Wow, that will really help - NOT! How are they going to collect this pittance? Opps, no plan yet so they probably never will collect it.

Bottom line, we can't afford the illegals now. Amnesty will just make it worse!
Between the cost of this war and the cost of this amnesty we will as a country will not only go bankrupt financial, but will become a third world country due to the invitation that amnesty means to the poor of the world.
NO Way. We are already in debt up to our eye balls(past our breathing apparatus=NOSE)
No. That would cost us Trillion of Dollars! We are in debt already considering the war in Iraq. This is also unfair for people who are migrating here in the US legally. It's obviously the politicians are more interested in being politically correct! We need to put a stop on this.
