Pro's What is one justification for Illegal immigration?

I want something that will show how violating American law is justifiable. I want supporting facts. Anti's feel free to comment.

Anyone heard from Minutewoman lately?

Answer:
The Bible says treat other people how you want to be treated. So if you were an illegal you would want people to be nice and give you a chance.

(Yesterday or the day before she was on here testing Yahoo to see what questions she could get away with. Maybe she got too many violations for being racist.)
With illegal immigrants, companies can hire cheap labor so they can stay competitive with other competing companies with cheap labor. They can stay in the US, where they will pay taxes to the government and provide Americans w/ products.

They can also serve as a role model for welfare collecting lazy Americans.
All they will tell you is how the illegals deserve to have a better life. Well, us poor LEGAL AMERICANS deserve to have better lives too. We have our own people to care for.

I think minutewoman is gone. Her 360 is gone at least...
Well with the US govt sending our two border patrol guys to prison for nabbing a dope smuggler with pounds of pot, that might be incentive. BTW if someone gets caught with that pot in US they could get life on their first offence. We should be letting govt know we are watching how they vote, there is a website that details how our reps(?) vote.
BIBLE ALSO SAYS OBEY THE LAWS OF THE LAND. THEY HAVE NO REASONS THAT ARE JUSTIFIABLE.
There is no justification for breaking the law. They have invaded our country in a time of war, by the thousands!
I agree they are people too but we just dont have the infrastructure to support them.

They come here, get our hospitals shut down by going to the ER for things as small as a cold because they have no health insurance, they have anchor babies, some pay taxes but many dont, they take jobs away from americans (also do a lot we dont want to but still doesnt justify taking even 1 job an american could be doing), they sell drugs and create crime (Not because they are mexican but because they come in usually at a poverty level income and then densely populate in small areas to create ghettos, which spawns crome regardless of race).

I mean i love mexican peoplem, I am puerto rican, I have lots of friends from many different cultures. But for these liberals to be fighting for the rights of someone invading the country ina time of war is treason.

Remember the 2 border patrol agents who are in jail for shooting a drug dealer who was coming into this country with drugs in the leg? The government gave them 10 years (because border patrol is not legally allowed to stop anyone coming in illegaly if that makes any sense, or discharge a weapon) and they even granted the drug dealer immunity to come back into the us whenever he wants if he wants to get his wound fixed. WE ARE FAVORING MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS OVER AMERICAN BORDER PATROL AGENTS. Come on now, id like to hear anyone on this thread claim that all the things I have listed are somehow alleviated by the "But they're people too, america was buit on immegrants" rebuttle.
Libertarians believe in solving issues with as little governmental intervention as possible. I'm for open borders. We also intend on abolishing welfare, to insure a working force. I don't care if your against it or not. The problem with republicans is that they will bomb for liberty, but god forbid someone tries to find liberty through self reliance. As far as people not paying taxes, I applaud them and don't care if you call me anti-American or whatever you want to stereotype me as. But let me ask you some questions. Why are you so worried about the immigration in Mexico, but not in Canada? Is it because they speak English? What is stopping a terrorist from going through legally, those who hijacked the planes in 9/11 had full documentation. Oh yeah, as for workers rights, why won't you compete. If I owned a business, I'm going to get the ones I believe are going to do the best job at the cheapest price. Poor legal americans. Give me a break. You complain, but won't take a directive approach to your problems, you have to whine to your govt thinking they're gonna do it for you. Guess what, borders are still open, and it looks like that won't change anytime soon. So start growing some balls and take a directive action. Do some research and find those who arn't using illegals, use property at the borders to keep them out. Statists always go to the govt with their problems and never do anything themselves.
First of all it is not a criminal act to be illegal, it is a civil one!

Justification? The rich need slave labor so they can stay rich!

Want to end illegals? Start arresting their largely Republican employers. They had 12 years and they did squat! What a novel idea, start arresting those that are breaking a criminal law?

Pear Crop Rots as Field Hands Kept from Crossing Border

Amid Immigration Debate, Farm Bureau Official Says, ‘We Couldn’t Get by Without Foreign Workers’

By JOHN QUINONES

LAKE COUNTY, Calif., Nov. 24, 2006 — Nick Ivicevich has been growing pears in northern California for 45 years, but never had he seen as good a crop as the one that blossomed here this season.

"I thought I died and went to heaven," he said. "I kept pinching myself. I could not believe how beautiful my crop was."

But now, much of his crop, almost two million pounds, lies on the ground — rotting away.

Thanks to increased security along the Mexican border, thousands of migrant workers who harvest the nation’s fruits and vegetables never showed up for work. Ivicevich’s pears ripened and then just fell off the tree.

"I’d lay in my house," he said, "and hear, ‘plop, plop, plop’ … and I’d have to look at them out my window. And, it’s just sickening."

Watch John Quinones’ report on the rotting pear crop tonight on "World News."

Farmers across the country blame Congress for not coming up with legislation that would grant migrant workers "seasonal worker status," allowing them to come work in U.S. fields temporarily and legally. It’s a matter of national security, some say.

"Do we want to become dependent on foreign food like we are on foreign oil?" asked Toni Scully, a California pear shipper. "Or do we want to recognize that our food is put on our table by Mexican workers who need a legal way, and deserve a legal way, to come into this country?"

"We couldn’t get by without foreign workers in California," said Jack King of the California Farm Bureau. "We employ some 450,000 workers." ABC NEWS
the world does not belong to the tyrants and political machines who have carved it up. As a creature of this world i will wander where i choose. The mistakes of my fathers, thier greed, thier seperation, will not prevent me from traveling as a child of this world. Your imaginary lines do not impress me, thier claims of control have not bound me. For I am free. And not in the way politicians exploit the term to control you either.
Lawlessness should never be accepted. But i agree that mexicans are being used for cheaper labor so companies can make more profits. Outsourcing of jobs has been the other alternative to cheap mexican labor. don't try playing the race card, it ain't workin!
Mexicans are cute little buggers,, that cook up some nice beans and soups
Justification?, Absolutely none. These illegals are a cancer
How many times do you want to tell us why you are right and we are wrong. If it will make you feel better you are right. But guess what I do not care.
the rule of law only applies to citizens
Fulfillment.
There are several.

One would be a decriminalization argument. That goes something like this. When a law or policy is not enforced, or enforced selectively, it becomes suspect. If the government fails to enforce it for a long enough time, people know that the law can be broken and they are reasonably safe from punishment. Here, we have hundereds of thousands of illegal immigrants and we aren't doing much about it. In fact, many of our corporations rely on the cheap labor. Corporations have the demand and there are people willing to provide the supply.

The above was a legal argument. The following is a moral argument.

Most illegal immigrants come because they want to make a better life for themselves or their family. They dont have much of an education, but they realize that if they can make it to our country they will have better food, water, shelter and more money. In that respect, it makes them quite logical to want to come here immediately. Everyone likes to point the finger and say, "why don't they just go through the proper channels?" While that would be ideal, it isn't even factoring into their decision making process. Going through the proper channels is expensive and complicated. A person who can't speak english and simply wants to do minimum wage manual labor won't have much luck with legally immigranting. So they do what's best for their families. If you were in their shoes, you would likely do the same. I know I would.
I couldn't have said it better than Answer Guy. He deserves a star and Best Answer, if you have the cojones to give it to him instead of one of your little anti buddies.

I'm not sure what happened to Minutewoman. She may be at the national KKK convention or working on the next Aryan Nation march through a black nieghborhood.
mexican is loving peoples all time
All of you throwing the "law card" are probably using drugs and driving drunk, would probably have sex with a 17 year old, etc... So who are you to judge? And of course you will NEVER admit to any of that.
There is no justification for breaking ANY law, including our immigration laws. No matter how you paint it, a dead horse is still a dead horse.
I personally don't think that breaking the law in any way is justifiable. I understand where it can get confusing... where do we draw the line. Immigrants (from any country) come into America hoping for a better life. Some are illegal, some not. I don't think that we should send the illegals ones away because first of all-there's too many to be able to find them all and send every single one. Second of all-as long as they aren't accepting medicare, welfare, benefits etc that WE are paying for then I don't think they are a problem. If they are paying their own taxes-which they CAN do even if they are illegal and they are working and minding their own business-who cares if they are here. The only ones that I think are problems are the ones that come to America expecting things. The ones that don't work, get welfare, and take advantage of the system. There are two kinds of illegal immigrants in this country. We shouldn't punish the one's who aren't doing anything wrong except trying their best. What we SHOULD do is stop the ones who ARE receiving medical aid that DONT work. If they did that would be a different story. They are working for the tax money too.
There IS no justification for breaking our laws by SNEAKING into the country illegally!!!!

They try to make EXCUSES for their friends/relatives committing a crime, but that's ALL they are, just excuses!!!!!
