You are very mistaken. Immigration from Cuba is not illegal. They just have to get here. It is Wet-Foot Dry-Foot. That only applies to them. Not Mexicans. Sorry! They get that because the persecution they face in their homeland. Mexicans do not go through even close what a Cuban does. Different situation.
Remember we are not anti-Mexican. We are anti-illegal immigrant ion which jeopardizes our welfare, our jobs, our money and our security. Just happens most are Mexicans. I like Mexicans. If you come here, come legally, speak ENGLISH and abide by our laws. If they can't do this, then you can't come.

Anti Mexicanism is abhorrent. Anti Immigration is disgraceful. Anti illegal immigration is a different issue. Illegal immigration should be stopped by any means, but the federal government should expedite the process for workers entering the country. No one should have to wait years for a worker's permit. That is what's happening. We are wearing these people down with our good old fashioned American bureaucracy, and they make the decision to come here illegally. That is when the they get taken advantage of by business.
Yeah, I am a Baptist and do not like people in my country illegally. And I don't care what nationality they are. Get out!

Most Americans are against law-breakers . I have never heard of any group what-so-ever who was against Mexicans .
Dictator , Fidel Castro forbids Cubans to immigrate . Sadly , many risk their lives fleeing . If they are caught escaping , many are imprisoned ; forbidden to get jobs and life is made even more intolerable for those people . Castro's own sister lives in Florida . That should tell you something ..
Mexicans are perfectly welcome , along with other immigrants , to follow the usual law abiding steps our government allows . Our country is at war with terrorism . Millions are illegally crossing our borders from Mexico . During WWII , many Italian immigrants were forced to register as "enemy aliens" . America did not hate Italians . The focus you speak of , isn't a minority issue - it is an ILLEGAL issue . Laws are for all in the USA ..so , it is in that vein - that Americans want to insure our safety is protected at the border .

I had a conversation about this subject with a very good friend of mine earlier today. He's not here to answer this, so I will on his behalf.
He is a LEGAL immigrant from Bangledesh. And he is against illegal immigration as well.
His reasons are that he worked very hard and put his whole life on the line to come here legally and play by the rules. He pays taxes and has a made a life for himself. Of course he's going to resent people who border jump and think they're entitled to a free ride when he worked so hard to achieve what he has.
And by the way, not that any illegal immigration supporters will ever get this through their heads- But we don't hate Mexico, Mexicans, Chicanos, and Aztlan. We are not against them either. We HATE our laws being broken.
Are you asking which group is against the illegal immigration? That is easy, most of the law biding US citizens are. They flow across many ethnic and cultural lines.
The only people I know of like that are my grandparents. They're kinda racist what with the growing up in a whole other era and whatnot.My mom jokes about adopting a black child just to spite them (she wouldn't really though, just so ya know.she just jokes).
