That article is about the Ft Dix terrorists, however, last summer there was House testimony about the 9/11 terrorists, as well. One even had the unpaid ticket in the glove compartment of the rental car they dropped off at the airport on 9/11.

You have hit on a real problem. Why wasn't the fact that these people were here illegally a reason for locking them up.
Cities and states should not have the option of not enforcing some laws while enforcing others.
Bush also paid taxpayer dollars to fly Bin Laden's family that were living in the US back to Saudi Arabia 2 days after 9/11. (The FAA had grounded all flights during that time, by the way.) They flew out of JFK on 9/13 if you want to check the flight schedules yourself.

thanks to Sanctuary cities like san Francisco and Chicago local police are not allowed to check for citizenship in traffic violations or other minor offenses like DUI, gang activity, domestic violence. so of course any id they show if they are illegal must be falsified. gee what a coincidence

Our threat is NOT coming from Mexicans who sneak across the border looking for work or a better life. The threat comes from our Local, State and Federal law enforcements agencies who are NOT linked to each other. It comes from our antiquated passport and immigration control - they don't know what happens once a person enters the country...don't know where they go, what they do...they have no way to track them.
The biggest threat is unchecked cargo arriving in our major ports, unchecked and unexamined cargo that is put on our passenger jets. The TSA morons will cavity search Grandma in her wheelchair while letting anybody send anything by cargo with no questions asked.
