What does the Canadian government give to Immigrants?
Answer:
The Cdn government gives nothing to immigrants, in fact they charge them fees to come to Canada. Perhaps you are thinking about refugees. A refugee is not an immigrant. They are persons admitted to Canada because they are not safe in their home country. There are several refugee programs. Some are 100% handouts from the government, while others have to repay the government any funds spent on their behalf. Obviously the government sees some benefits to using taxpayers money for this purpose.
