Why would they get harassed? They bring business to the store because it is a convenience for the customers to buy their materials at HD and then step outside and find workers whose dire need makes them easily exploitable? The store benefits, the customers benefit, the workers even benefit because although they are underpaid, at least they get work. And the police won't hassle them because the public depends on their services.

Are you asking if the ILLEGAL alien criminals get harassed at Home Depot? If so, no. They are left along because it is politically correct to leave them alone, even though they are criminals! The pro-illegal alien crowd gets all pushed out of shape if anyone breathes in their direction. Heaven forbid that anyone calls ICE like they should.
Hiring illegal aliens won't be legal for much longer. If I learn that Home Depot is hiring illegals, I'll cease all business with them. They are essentially supporting illegal activities by hiring them.
The USA is a country under siege. It's being altered by an out of control immigration policy. The policy exists to keep from happening exactly what is happening. Generally, other cultures have quotas on coming into the country but with the southern border the way it is and bordering a 3rd world country, the numbers are vastly shifting to Hispanics now.
Unless the govt gets it's act together and addresses this, and soon, the USA will cease to exist as it once did and become (if not already there) a bilingual country consisting mainly of Hispanics followed by everyone else.
If I had the power, I would make it a felony to hire an illegal alien and aggressively enforce this law. It would not take long for the problem to fix itself.
