the way they usually get food stamps and welfare is by breeding up here...they get them on account of their offspring that are legal americans...i know..its sickening
And what makes you think they are able to apply? They cant even get a drivers license you think they are going to apply for food stamps? They leave that to the lazy "legals"...
That is what we need to ask the senators and congressmen until we get an answer.
Because you have people on the Left that view the illegals as a new voting base. Its that simple, the Dems view Illegals as a new source of political power and new pawns for the future. Rather then securing our country and stopping the flow of money from US citizens to illegals, Dems would rather keep it going and blame Bush.

I think only residents and citizens are able to apply for all of that. But hey now a days with fake I.D and Fake social cards your able to get a job at Mickey D's... Thats One Thing i hate about illegal people. Omg I've even heard that there are some people or not know companies that make Fake I.D's for immigrants. I think thats a huge Crime. But i dont know if thats True. and to those who ask if there are people whom do this. Uh Yes!! people now a days can do anything if they dont get caught, dont underestimate the mind of a criminal.
they aren't. you have to have a social security number or resident alien number. they cannot get a drivers license without a resident alien card. this is propaganda that people use to justify racism. do you actually know of any illegals who have done this? i find that people say this without any direct knowledge of it actually happening.
Because people take advantage of our services. If we actually followed our laws then this wouldn't happen. ENFORCE the immigration laws!
Because no one in Congress really wants to stand up & be the Bad Guy. For that matter, none of the state legislators really want to either. Every one of them that has made a stand has been villified by the media.
Also, who do you think pays for their campaigns & gratuities? Those very same businesses that are employing the illegal aliens. Who do you think is cleaning their houses, washing their cars & taking care of their kids? Do you think that their kids are attending the public schools that are being inundated by children who can't speak English & are having to catch up to their grade level?
In other words, the issue of illegal immigration isn't touching them in any way that would make them hurt, so why stand up & make a stand?
Yes they sure can get all the help they want, its called fake papers. I just saw a tv show last night, about just how good the fake papers are, and yes some are very well done.

Illegals are not supposed to be able to apply. The reason it asks on the applications for benefits about your citizenship is that is intended for people who are here on a temporary basis and not a legal citizen.
To get food stamps and welfare, you need to have more than a fake ID. If you are any familiar with the procedure, you know that you need to apply in person, go through interview-like process and pass a number of checks vs. computer records. A simple fake SSN wouldn't fly.
There is an exception - people with US-born children. In this case the benefits are provided for the sake of children who are US citizens.
Of course, if you look long and hard enough you could find a few individual cases where somebody got something he/she was not supposed to, but the notion that anybody can just walk in and get the benefits is nonsense.
You think that's bad, on Lou Dobbs yesterday, he did a report on actual "illegals" WORKING FOR OUR GOVERNMENT! Some sort of snafu in the application process. These are all in different levels of bureaucracies and government agencies. YIKES! The figure was like 43-48,000 illegals.
One way is by having an anchor baby.
One way is using a stolen ID.

You know one from El Salvador?. I know dozens of them (From El Salvador, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras.) that are receiving all the benefits that many legal inmigrants that have worked hard in USA and lost their jobs can not receive.
