What is the Churches position on document fraud by illegals ?
Answer:
They have no problem with the wave of illegals because they are in the main, Catholic. More Catholics in a country mean more power for the Church.
If they were Buddhists or Hindus, I think they would be neutral on the issue, neither opposing or supporting.
Why does it matter what they think?
Churches position:
"The reason why you've done what you've done is because the almighty wants it this way. Now, bend over and pull your pants down, my boy, you'll be injected with seed of truth and forgiveness."
No church controls it's members to the extent that it can stop them from doing anything. It can only tell them that what they are doing is wrong. If you are speaking about the Catholic church, this is not something that would get you excommunicated from the church. Why do you think that a Mexican illegal would listen to a priest anymore than an American listens. This is man's law that is keeping people from this country. God made this world for all people without boundries. Man has made the boundries as a protection for himself. If you are a Christian, you are to follow the laws of man if they are just & I would say that keeping Illegals out of our country are just laws & are necessary for us to survive as a nation.
I guess you could stretch a point and say that document fraud falls under "bearing false witness."
But, I think what it really comes down to is that a lot of illegals happen to be Catholic, while that religion is waning among Americans. Thus, the Church has a vested interest in getting more immigrants to America, from predominantly Catholic regions - simply to maintain the size of it's congregations.
Same position of employers and senators. Remenber church is big bussiness.
Maybe you should try going to Church and find out for yourself!!
