Do illegal immigrants (and legal immigrants for that matter) work "harder" than Americans?
Sure, there are lazy Americans, just as there are lazy Mexicans, Guatemalans, Peruvians, Indians, Arabs, Africans, Pakistani's, Frenchmen, and Germans.
I swear, I wish that people would listen to themselves when they say silly stuff like that, it just makes their arguments look worthless.

No. They are more corrupt and lie, cheat and steal to get what they want. Would you trust someone who broke into your home to tell you the truth? They are raising their children to be lawbreakers.
There are plenty of lazy people in the world. There are plenty of hardworking people in the world.
Either way people are always going to be critical of each other, instead of minding their own businesses.

I think we make it easier for lazy Americans to live. Our public assistance programs are abused by people who just don't want to work. It makes it harder for people who actually need the assistance (yes, gasp, there are people who actually need it!).
Those of us who have worked hard our whole lives struggle living pay check to pay check paying not only for ourselves, but also for people who sit around with their hand out. A friend of mine and her husband have 5 jobs between the two of them; they made $5 a month more than the cut-off for food stamps. They weren't looking for a check, just a little help with the grocery bill. She was advised (by a GOVERNMENT employee!) to quit her jobs so they would qualify for full welfare benefits.
As with any generalization, there will be some who fit the stereotype and some who don't. There are hard-working Americans and lazy immigrants, just as there are those that fit the stereotype.

Just look at the beautiful country we the citizens of this country built with our hard work and loving arms. Then take a look at the poverty and crime, shanty towns of which most illegals come from. Then tell me what country has the hardest workers
