How do you feel about illegals getting free Medicaid health insurance pregnancy care is straining hospitals??
Looks to me like Federal, State, Local Government agencies as well as University and private sources are spending money hand over fist to give health care to individuals who are here illegally:

We used to go to another major hospital called St. Lukes. I cannot TELL you how many times we have had to wait until they find an interpreter for a Mexican family ahead of us. I now COMPLAIN loudly! IN AMERICA you should speak ENGLISH AND...you should be here legally.

Medical care IS MOST DEFINITELY a social service that anybody living in the U.S. uses...Period. Are you going to try to insist that no illegal aliens uses hospitals?? How many hospitals in the Southwest have YOU been to?

you dont have to have a SS number to pay taxes and no ID theft either.you need a tax ID to pay taxes and SS.you can only do just that and cant substitute it for anything else ie drivers license, real SS #

Well, I belive that all healthcare for everyone should be for free. So, I'm happy about it? Its the Hippocratic Oath to treat anyone, regardless of their financial situation. And these were already free clinics. Sooo? How can they lose money? When they make no money to begin with... Exacly. A pregnant illegal deserves the same right too have her baby delivered here because you gotta remember. That baby is a US citizen.
The drain on the tax payer is comparable to terrorism. When legal Americans are losing their jobs to illegal workers, when Americans are losing their homes, when Americans are losing their health insurance because of illegal immigrants,this is terrorism. How many Americans will have trouble sleeping tonight wandering if they could be next to lose everything because of illegal immigration and the economic impact it is having on their lives? She thinks that illegals paying into SS makes up for the billions they cost in education and medical care. EVERY independent study shows illegals use far more in services then they pay in taxes.
Just a quick point for fun - Lets estimate that there are 12 million illegals. And lets estimate that there are 1 million illegal kids getting public school educations. Lets also estimate there are 2 million anchor babies getting schooling. These figures are VERY low but this is just for fun. Then lets estimate their costs for schooling at 12,000 per student per year (also very low). That means just to educate illegals TAXPAYERS spend 36 billion a year. Since schools are not permitted to record immigration status and the majority of the costs are state/local the fed doesn't care.
This doesn't pay for their medical, food stamps, housing, crime, diseases they foster on others, etc.

Yes illegals also pay some other taxes - but the amount they pay is usually very little. When they use a fake SS # or a TIN # they often get earned income credits (which usually equates to more then they paid in the system to start with) back because they claim lots of children. And they live in low income neighborhoods, which have low taxes, and they split the rent 20 ways.
By the way since I'm in law enforcement I have no choice but to pay my taxes since my pay is public information. And it could be a career decision for me to cheat on my taxes.

as a college student working as a pharmacy technician, yeah i see a lot of people that dont speak english that are on medicaid (and generally if they dont speak any english they probably arent legal). from what ive heard from other people (i dont know if this is actually accurate) they get their benefits because the way the law is written, the parents of a child entitled to medicaid can also be eligible whether they are a citizen or not. so basically they get free healthcare from their anchor babies.
medicaid in general is a huge waste of money in my opinion. id say easily 2 out of 3 people on medicaid are ungrateful *** holes leaching off of society that expect everything on a silver platter and frankly dont deserve the help they get. and i cant even begin to tell you how many of them i suspect to be addicted to things like xanex, hydrocodone, oxycodone, etc. and using tax dollars to support their habits. they get better healthcare than most people with private insurance because medicaid covers a vast range of medical procedures and drugs are only $1 max in my state so they tend to get the newest brand name stuff while the privately insured often settle for older drugs with generics (not to mention brand name is mandated for many drugs even though generics are available). in my opinion it should only cover things like antibiotics and drugs for life threatening conditions, not crap like allergy meds, viagra, pain killers (except for maybe short term use from accidents), etc. but i guess its good, i mean we should be spending $100 on zyrtec rather than getting some $5 benadryl because we dont want unproductive members of society to have runny noses or itchy eyes while theyre watching judge judy all day instead of working, now do we. its only fair in the liberal world.
but what ticks me off the most is when they roll up in the drive through with a brand new $30k+ pickup talking on their $200 cell phone... man i love being able to rant about this freely online...
Try $70 million dollars to birth illegal immigrants' babies--in one hospital alone (Parkland hospital, Dallas County Tx)--and that was over 3 years ago.
Factor in the increase in illegal aliens...factor in in the increase in medical trend cost (easily 10% annually in the past 3 years)
Over $80 million right now by a very conservative estimate.
Remember : One single hospital in one single southwest city.

In my state they are not allowed to get these benefits. They can no longer even go to the hospital for an emergency. They are denied treatment because of their status. A friend of mine had to go to a Hispanic Clinic to seek treatment for a severe cut he recieved from a pawn saw. Not all states are like the one you mentioned. The women here go to clinics that are made for them. Clinica de Mama is a very popular one, and other clinics of this type are where the hispanic population go to seek medical treatment, by doctors who are hispanic and do not charge them alot for services.
All states should follow the example of Fairy Queen's state. God knows Texas isn't one of them. (Parkland Hospital is an example).
Perhaps "midcenturydesigner" lives in one of those states in a glass bubble and is ignorant what goes on in the rest of the country.
When I use to go to my prenatal appointments I was very nosey and watched how tons and tons of mexican women would come in there and use a Medi-Cal card. I had to pay like 400 a paycheck for medical insurance. These brawds give birth for a living and it pisses me off how they are getting medical for free while us working poor have to pay for it! That is why Americans are a dying breed. We dont breed llike rabbits because its not free!
Illegals are hurting hospitals all over the country.

It pisses me off that they are ILLEGAL and can come here an have a baby and get free everything. If I worked in a hospital I would tell them to take a hike. I would work in a hospital just to do that.
