There are enemies out there. Are you an enemy? Prove it. And that is why we have (all countries have) these policies. If you are an American, you will never get into Mexico without proper forms and Legal entry. Isn't that odd?
To control the flow of human beings going in and out of a country. Why can't people learn how to spell?

there has to be some way of keeping control of who can enter this country, you wouldnt want a group of terrorist to get in so easy(Although it does seem like they get in easy) you know? its all about knowing who is here thats the reason for the laws

I am with you 1000%, and "everyone" no matter who they are or where they work should "report so we can deport",,,the illegals,,,,,plain and simple, and this United States will be a better place,,,,
And that's why we can't stop them, because there are millions. If they don't listen to one law and our jails are already full, what do you expect us to do? We could catch them and send them back? They'd be back in an hour. You can't control millions of people, unless they dont' know they're being controlled. If they do, they fight back, and there's nothing you can do, to stop them.
So that we feel good that our politicians are passing laws to protect us. A lot of good an unenforced law is...

Unfortunately evasion of taxes, etc, seems to be human nature (in certain individuals!). You are really sooooo right!! E.g. here in my country in Africa, the "illegal aliens" especially Americans, and a few Europeans have been notorious for that. An American I knew was bringing in containers of Cafe furniture; he'd evade taxes like hell. He flew back to USA without paying rent & electricity bills; and sadly when he left we discovered that he had sexually assaulted all the young upcoming artists he pretended he was saving from proverty when he asked them to exhibit their works in the garden of his Cafe free of charge. Reasons he fled the country was because a 13 year old boy threatened to report him.
The concept of "Illegal aliens" does not always refer to people from countries that were made poor (developing).
Why are there speed limit laws.. millions of people ignore them as a routine behavior.. to ATTEMPT to get people to slow down.. same reason... ROFL to SiervoCal... I agree
