I have nothing against legal immigration, I do however have something against illegal immigration.
Think about it, if we just let anyone(illegal immigrants) in America we would get more diseases(not calling imigrants diseased, just stating the obvious) and the unemployment rate would shoot up because there wouldn't be enough jobs to support all the new people. There has to be a balance, and when people immigrate illegally it disrupts that balance. Also, when people immigrate illegaly, it's like moving into someone else's house without permission, how would you like to have someome move into your house, eating your food, voting on your house rules withough permission?
Illegal immigration has been a problem for decades and American people have been complaining about it for decades, so why can't the government do what they promise and deal with it?? Answer: they want the illegal's votes. What we NEED to do is everyone(everyone against illegal immigration)needs to send a letter to their senator and every other person in authority every week about how discusted we are with how they are dealing with it(the immigration problem), that's what I'm going to do once I turn 18. No, I don't hate illegal immigrants, but I am strongly against them invading America instead of trying to better their own government.

It needs to be limited to protect our schools for our children and our services for our own poor and elderly. So long as that is done, LEGAL immigration is great. Illegal immigration needs to be stopped.

We need more hard working people in this country
With a surplus of people, shortage of resources and degrading environment, the only people permitted to enter the country should be those workers who have skills that are unavailable locally. This would be on a short term basis and no residential status would be granted to workers' families.
The commercial argument for foreign workers is merely the greed of international capitalists with no loyalty to any country. the lower wages will increase corporate profits while employees will be taxed higher to fund the unemployment benefit of local people.

As long as its legal its fine. These illegals are the ones I have a problem with. Why not just get a real American citizenship, pay taxes, and then if you are treated badly, then demand some rights. You don't really have a voice unless you are a citizen. Immigrants founded this country. Everyone talks about pilgrims were immigrants, and irish and italians, and all that. Keep in mind there were no borders, and no immigration laws back then, so it wasn't against the law for people to freely roam in and out of the United States. Now it's 2007. We have borders, as well as a correct procedure to enter, and become a US citizen. Illegal immigrants are simply disregarding this law, and entering as they wish, and then have the nerve to demand rights, and fair treatment. Not realizing that they are owed nothing, and are criminals. No matter how nice they are, or how loved by their communities they are, they are criminals, just disregarding the law. How do they expect to be embraced in America if they can't follow its rules?
So confusing and time taking department, also scary too. Needs reduce visa application fees bit
