What is the hardest thing about emigrating to another country?

Apart from the paperwork, and leaving friends and family behind, is there anything else I'm gonna miss with when I move from the UK to the USA?? Anybody made the same move and want to give me a few hints to make the move easier?

Answer:
Having lived in both countries. I'd say the cultures are very different. Though we both speak the same language, we go about things in totally different ways. Your biggest obstacle will be adapting to the different culture in the US. Welcome to the states.
Doing it legally.
The language barrier, oh wait you speak English too. Just make sure you keep in touch with your friends and family on a daily basis. That helps the more than anything. Welcome to the US.
legal paper works, you would be welcomed if you get that.
When I moved with my Ex (American to Belgium), found that the worst part is the language barrier. You will first love the country, then hate it, then love it again. lol. Its a weird cycle. Trust me, your going to hate it about 2 or 3 weeks in...but afterwords, once you start meeting people, and learning the language, you will love it.
Which part of the USA? E-mail me, O-key?
I moved fron New Zealand to Australia. No paperwork & only a 3 hour flight, but it was still hard to get used to. The things i found hard aside from missing people were my favourite comfort foods not being available, not being able to pop into my favourite clothing store and the difference in attitudes. The slang took a bit to get used too, but i found if i concentrated on the positives, kept in touch with my friends and family back home i didn't feel so bad.
Also try to focus on why you moved, instead of all the good things back home and you'll stay happy with the move.
Making friends with other immigrants helps too.
Putting up with white people that claim they are not racists. Then having to listen to their definition of the word " illegal. If you can get thru that you might have a chance. If you have brown skin either commit suicide or start thinking "illegal". If you encounter the" Minute men" tell them you are not. gay
