It sounds like you got scammed. When someone from the US hires you, THEY NEED TO PROVDE YOU with the proper paperwork. They don't ask you for $5000 and expect you to fill out your own paperwork with immigration. Even various mafias would probably at least get you a tourist visa.
I suggest you to go to the American Embassy in your country and report these people. You would be doing everyone a great service.
You will not get an H1 visa no matter how much you pay. They are all gone for this year and the next. Too bad, so sad.
