I would say so, back in the day my mom got punched in the gut in the UK because her and her friends weren't talking in English.but the KKK is getting more recruits because of the immigration problem so I think the US is catching up...
it depends, there are some who hate us because of bush, but dont worry, 1) its not all of britain, and 2) threre the brits, they take crap from no one, just dont mess with them

Well, there are now more people attending mosques rather than Churches in England. Muslims (not all, but on the whole) don't seem to integrate well into their host societies - and in the UK, that has caused a fair amount of violence.
On the other hand, the upper-crust Brits do tend to be a tad intolerant anyway (even of their own people). In any event, I wouldn't suggest that you deprive yourself of the opportunity to spend some time there. The UK is genuinely beautiful ... especially so outside of London (which has its nice spots as well).

No...the most hatred is in the US. If you are American you will be greeted so, so, but don't expect to be treated the best.
You can do what most Americans do when they step out the airport you can say your Canadian to be treated very well. Americans do it in all countries in the world.
