Depends if the police had a search warrant. I read a article in the Miami Herald where the police knocked on the door, and the illegals did not open the door and the police went away.
I for one think that if the police had a warrant they should have broken down the door if the illigals did not open the door.

If the Police illegally went into their homes, why would they not be liable to be sued? There isn't supposed to be one law for Americans and one for everyone else outside of immigration law before entry into the US. In fact, it was originally unconstitutional to deny foreigners the right to immigrate to the US and there is an un-withdrawn contract carved in stone on the statue of liberty to this day. If the Police went in illegally, they hadn't done the ground work to know who was there or obtained the legal authority to do so and would have no right to go in. They might have been 11 all Americans and if you had been in that group you would be suing on the same grounds. It behoves us all not to advocate the development of a police state, America is quite close enough already.
