WHY DO PEOPLE COME HERE! uk?
As an island i've been lead to believe that the only way that we could except asylum seekers ie be leagal to stay here would be if they were flown here direct from there country?
As isn't it the law that you have to seek asylum in the 1st neutral country you enter...
So how the hell dose the uk get so many when it's clear that the rest of eroupe let them past through to us.. do we have a sign saying pls come here we will look after you better than we look after peps that live and work here from birth WE ARE MUGS?

The number of Asylum seekers has been reduced...its the illegal immigrants which are causing more problems and of course European migrant workers who have a right to be here.

Actually the labour government did put up posters and adverts asking trhem to come here and offered them money, homes cars benefits etc. Its discusting and yes they should only be here if they have a genuine reason to be. We are the dumping ground for the rest of europe that dont want them.
the police have given up stopping them driving to check they are legal as they never have any ins tax etc and they are fed up with all the paperwork so they turn a blind eye
the uk will give them money, healthcare, education, and all they have to do is sit on their arses and tell us how terrible we are and how we should give them more. thats why they flock here ln droves. the end is nigh.

Its interesting how similar UK and USA government is. They both put out the welcome sign with freebies up the wazoo and leave the citizens wondering what the hell is going on!
Recently I've seen a Stephen Frears' movie: "Dirty Pretty Things". It's a fascinating character study of a bunch of people (most illegal aliens) that a lot of us take for granted. They suffer, my friend, they're not happy. It would be a great help for everyone - for EVERYone - if major border control would be established. Europe - and UK - are no Paradise.

I live near an area packed with immigrants and EU residents and the Romanians and Bulgarians come here with extremely large family's they don't bother working and they make the place look a mess.

The laws of this land have been ripped apart by the PC, tree-hugging, human rights idiots and solicitors who are not bothered about them or us, but are only interested in making a lot of money very quickly by representing what they see as a quick money-making scheme.
Wouldn't you move here then with the free NHS as well as all the benefits you could want all paid for by UK tax payers? We're a soft touch and until we toughen up on foreigners, they're going to continue to make a beeline for this country.
this is the truth and I dont know why the government lets them get away with it but very few of them arrive on flights and I think they all come here because the government gives them houses and money for nothing
problem is the rest of the world has the strange idea that the UK is the land of milk & honey. every one is rich & there is plenty for all.

When you tell them the real facts regarding crime, taxation, people living in poverty or cardboard city, low wages, working hours, etc, their jaws just drop.

They come because of the benefits, the free healthcare, the middle class liberal idiots who make it a desirable place to be for them! Many of them do indeed pass through many safe countries to get to us. And the powers that be in thos places let them do it...after all if they dont stay there, if they just pass through on the way to the UK its easier for them.

OK, yes it's correct that people claiming asylum must do so in the first "safe" country they reach. Any found to have passed through another European country will be sent back there to have their claims considered - trust me, this happens a lot, although there are many cases where it can't be proved which country they came through. But in fact, most claimants have arrived directly by air from outside Europe, so this is the first safe country.
You might like to know that whereas the UK received 28,000 asylum-seekers last year, in France it was 39,000, and many countries had much larger numbers relative to their populations than the UK (Sweden, Holland, Austria, Greece...) Syria and Jordan each received around a million refugees from Iraq, who live in desperate circumstances.
It is also a myth that asylum-seekers or refugees get better treatment than natives. Life in the asylum system is very hard.
with out sounding racist the reason they come here is because our politicians and leaders are all traitors to there own people and made this once proud and beautiful land a sponge for any despot that wants to come here. notice when a house comes up for sale how many Muslims flock to buy it no wonder us British cant get a house. or even rent one from the council .because of this in flux of refugees.we need change now enough.is enough.Blair has gone let hope brown dose better.and sort this mess out quick very quick
