Ok so heres my story! I interviewed for a job on June 28th. I thought the interview went great.?

Everyone was super nice, We all got along great. They said that the director was on vacation till Mon July 2so i should give him a few days to get settled in and then they will be in touch but they will def. put in a good word for me. well July 4th happened to fall in the middle of the week so i waited till july 5th to call the lady who interviewed me. I told her that i was just following up and wanted to see how things were going. she told me that they were still interviewing and also the lady who set up my interview was incharge of all the hiring and shes on vacation till monday(July 9th) but as soon as she gets back she'll have her follow up with me. Well its tuesday and im super nervous, and i really want this job. I haven't heard from her and so i called the lady who set up my interview and her vm picked up. it still said she was on vac from the 4th - 6th of july. I left her a vm letting her know that im following up n i hope everything is well. what next? I so want this job

Answer:
This is NOT an immigration question ?
Be patient...
I hope you get the job.

But stop calling. Wait until late next week to check back. There's a fine line between anxious and pest.
I wouldn't keep calling, you might start to annoy her. Wait until Monday of next week and if you haven't heard anything give a call just saying you want to follow up. Don't act too desperate.
My husband and I owned our own company for many years. I can tell you that just coming back from vacation makes it very difficult to get back into the regular routine as it is and then to make time to review all the interviewees and fairly evaluate them is time consuming. Don't panic that no one has given you an answer yet. That doesn't mean the answer is no. Write (in long hand) a brief thank you note to the person who set up the interview and also one to the person who interviewed you to let them know you appreciate their time and consideration. Mail the notes immediately and then make a follow up call at the beginning of the week if you haven't heard anything just to let them know you are still interested in the position. Hope that is helpful to you.
be patient but what does this have to do with immigration?
Send in a hand written thank you note, make sure the words are spelled correct and it is neat and well written. Always call a week later and never on a Mon or Fri. good luck
