Did West Germany ever recover finically?

When the Berlin Wall came down, did West Germany ever recover finically after the influx of the poor from East Germany? If the Immigration Bill passes in this country do you think taxes will be about the same as they are now? Do you think that it will not be a burden to this country finically? What will happen if this Immigration Bill passes?

I don't know, but what I do know is that the immigration bill has failed yesterday. I don't know when they will try to create another but it will be awhile away. We want other things taken care of first (like laws). I think if it would have passed, it would have been a burden to taxpayers all across the country--to pay for the benefits of others who didn't deserve it because of their initial actions of staying here illegally.
Then I'm going into the poor house...

oh wait, I'm a full time college student who is living in a illegal filled area, who is living with an annoying roommate who is living off of student loans.

Already in the poor house..

But in the future, I would have to become a police officer instead of boarder patrol. Or I would become an INSANE nut who goes after illegals... One of the 2. ;)

West Germany never had to recover from anything,yes they had to pay so East Germany could recover but it wasn't this bad.
