Here is the thing, Mexico is now run by drug lords. Drug lords that the Mexican army and government can't control, hell even members of the Mexican army defected over to the drug lords. The Mexican President and people should clean up their own country instead of making ours worse. Get all the illegal immigrant gang members together, send them back to Mexico to take care the problem. These third world countries need to grow some balls and stand up for themselves instead of holding their hands out in the US direction. Hence that is why our Troops are still over in Iraq.
Mexico isn't worried about the exodus to America. They won't do anything about it because they aren't being hurt by it, we are.

Its a problem for the nations where immigrants are coming from. People would not want to leave nations like Mexico if there was something resembling economic opportunity. This is the reason you do not see people fleeing from Canada to the USA.
Because they are entering OUR country, and Mexico could careless, this way they don't have to support them!
It's really both our problems. Mexico obviously is doing something wrong that makes their people come here. And we need to protect our country. The illegals take our jobs because they are cheap labor, they don't have to pay taxes because they aren't citizens. I'm not saying they're bad people, just that it's not fair to the people who come hear legally.
Mexico is the gnat that won't go away.
It IS our problem, we have to deal with thousands of illegals crossing into this country each day. Our government won't do anything about it so it's time we take matters into our own hands.
Mexico wants their lower class citizens to turn foot and leave. They won't own up to anything, they feel they're entitled to something.. Our government has some sort of guilt trip going on for the Mexican-American war when we pwned them.
Because the ruling classes of Mexico see it as a positive benefit. It gets thier underclass out of thier hair and sending money back to prop up thier economy. Ilegals are overwhelmingly of 'mestizo' extraction and face poverty and limitted opportunity at home, and, 'remitances' from Mexicans working in America make up the second-larges line-item of the Mexican economy after oil revenues.
Mexico ending emmigration to America would be like America sutting down the internet.
Because that problem was never solved before or as early as possible. Now it's getting complicated.
And how can Mexican government prosecute the Illegal immigrant if he or she is in the U.S. land. Make sense huh.
to Red Fox. taking our jobs? no way.. we as americans think we are too good to do maintenance, seasonal work, hotel cleaning, McDonalds...etc.. so they are not taking 'our' jobs.. we are letting them because we are too 'proud' to do low paying jobs..
to: deep thought. i seriously doubt that,, cause i know alot of kids in my area who are not hispanic and they work at McDonalds... so thats not a good enough excuse for me...and i live 220 miles from the border.

Since when is a high school kid with no money too good to work fast food. I have a son who can't work at McDonalds because he doesn't know conversational spanish and it would be hard for him to converse with his co-workers. And we're 500+ miles from the Mexican border.
Mexico can barely claim it has a government. They are criminals themselves, so why would they care that their people are committing crimes
