What is the Mexican policy if Cubans decide to head west to Cancun instead of north to Miami (US) ?

No they are not welcome. Nor do they attempt to go there. Its America they hope to get to. Mexico is brutal to folks who cross their southern borders. They have a huge double standard that the media never reports about.

If you were to go to mexico illegally you would have some problems.
Like if you were an American and protested in their streets with an American flag, you would end up in jail then deported.

Mexico has tougher immigration laws than we do, and they actually enforce theirs.

yes i believe they are welcomed in most countries. oh and by the way the mexican immigration enforcement is much tougher on illegals because the usa pays them to do so that way it stops so much flow to the usa!

Cubans are welcome in Mexico, but as a legal procedure, they have to be in detention and sometimes they are allowed to stay and sometimes are deported to Cuba. We don't hate Pert Ricans, we love our brothers in all Latino America, the bad blood that they have is here in the United States. And I think that the Puerto Ricans dislike Mexicans because they are U.S. citizens. And it is correct, Mexico have a tough immigration laws. If you can go to visit my country, then you can find a good Cuban population all over Mexico, you can even see them as actors in TV, movies, they work there and live in peace. The greatest population of Argentinians are in Mexico. I don't understand why the Americans hate so much my country. My father always love United States, admire your country and always had a nice word for the Americans, he never could visit the U.S. and he passed away last year and never fulfill his dream. And for me to read and to see that hate towards my countrymen and my homeland, it is sad and left me with the thought that my father didn't miss nothing good at all.
