How can my parents get US citizenship?
Or, Alien, or National? I, however, am not familiar with these terms.
Answer:
You are US citizen over 18 years and you have full right to petition your parents, once you do so your parents will have a green card for 2 years with some conditions, then in 2 years they have to remove those conditions and apply for another status, they fill different forms than in the 1st time, they gain a green card for 10 years, during those 10 years they can start working on a citizenship. Good luck!
Kids can get a citizenship from their parents, but the same isnt true the other way around. Your parents cant just get a US citizenship like that. They have to live in the U.S. for several years and then apply and go for testing.
If you are a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years old, you are eligible to petition to bring your parents to live and work permanently in the United States.
Your parents will get "green cards" after 5 years living in USA. They Can Apply for US Citizenship!
I don't see why not? they just may have to go threw the naturalization process which may take some time. Contact your local INS they would give you clear cut answers
they are in the phone book.
At age 21 you can file an I-130 immigrant petition for each of them.
