Did you know that most Americans actually SUPPORT the immigration reform?

Yes, you heard me right. I'm not making up numbers. This bill will pass, and when it does, I'll be celebrating.

Read the first section:
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=2...

So go ahead and label the poll "flawed", or "liberal", or "made up", but the fact remains, most Americans support this bill, and it is a vocal minority that opposes it.

These people need to be brought out of the shadows and start paying taxes.

YES TO AMNESTY!

Answer:
WOW!! A voice of reason out of the wilderness. Ready for all the hate from the fake American "patriots"?
No, I didn't know that.

No to amnesty!
More illegals = more folks on welfare = less chance that my welfare check will increase next year.
your no American!~ I dont care where you live!
Wow, I didn't know they were gonna' make them pay taxes. Yay! Go for it! Pleeeeeeeeeease make them pay taxes! They've gotten assistance while I've paid for it for at least 20 years now. Thank God if they do, and maybe some of the long time players ought to have to pay double what the other guys pay when they 'legalize' them. <snicker>
You must be related to President Bush or Ted Kennedy.
It's better than nothing, I WANT MY MONEY BACK, START PAYING TAXES, LEARN ENGLISH, AND GET IN LINE...

I don't care what both parties say, everyone says compromise, but nobody does it...until they think of something better im supporting this!
Tell it to someone who believes you cause we aint buyin what your selling senorita! Ahahahahahah and ahahahahahaha! We dont want you here and thats the hard truth suck it up baby!
I agree that they should be paying taxes - to Mexico in Mexico.

I didn't even bother to read your link, since you said the word "poll." I don't believe in polls. I'll say it again, polls are usually biased already with questions leading to a pre-determined conclusion, paid for by people looking for that specific conclusion in specific already-biased areas. An intelligent debater would never use a poll or percentage statistic (percentages can be made up) to back up his answer.

The majority wants this? Obviously you saw one of those slanted polls I mentioned above. All one has to do is use the search function here alone, and see that the majority of us are in fact against amnesty.

No to amnesty. I don't think millions of illegals who came here ILLEGALLY should be given the rights of common citizens who did things the right way. That's like giving a felon a free college degree and a job on wall street. To reward crime is a travesty. It will also drag our economy down, as they'll legally be able to file for more aid that we, the middle class taxpayers, will be footing the bill for. No way.
NO TO AMNESTY!

"These people need to be brought out of the shadows and start paying taxes."
are:
1) illegal aliens since they aren't currently paying taxes
2) living in Mexico a nation in the shadow of the US, financed in large part by what illegals send back to Mexico

Either way, they are not Americans. They can go home, sit on their butts and whine about it all day from there.
I have nothing against immigrate but they need to do things the legal way and not the illegal way. I don't understand why people are speaking for immigrants...they don't have the rights in America or the freedom of speech in America since they are not citizens. My family come to America the legal way and they have to go through many obstacle and test in order to become citizens. If the immigrants want to be an American citizen they should do what everyone else is doing.

This is about Fairness not to be against immigrants.
There are now 132,000 Illegal Aliens that have been convicted of felony child sexual molestation in the U.S. Nice try - The truth is 71% of Americans are against this bill. I am against this bill bacause I am an American Native who follows the rules and waits in line. The Illegal Aliens have committed tresspass and have CHEATED. Do you allow your boyfriend to Cheat on you?.
RIP immigration reform bill hahaha LOL President Bush is out looking for 20 Republican Senators to Support the bill and bring it back to life.
Are you trying o blow smoke up a certain orifice in my body.

The opposition to Amnesty is one of the few things Americans agree on. That's all political parties, all economic backgrounds all race; Americans agree by 76%

You can try to use an poll scam you want but Americans are not buying.
I've taken these polls before. All of them ask bias or slanted questions. It aso show most people don't realize that the bill contains language that would allow felons to get the Z visa as well. I would of looked the other way when the bill pass despite my reservations, until I learned about the felony part last week. Now I'm hopping mad.
How about we call it a poll conducted in a place where Mexicans are possibly the majority. Maybe conduct one that isnt in LA and with more than 1183 people surveyed.

And they never asked in that survey if the people supported the bill it only asked 6 questions and 2 of them were on how important an issue illegal immigration was. 87% think that immigration is a problem with 32% who think it is one of the most important problems we face.

It was 47% feeling illegals take away jobs from Americans.

other questions were should we have a point system that gives preference for immigration to educated people which people supported of course.

Another about should we have a guest worker program for people to not be citizens and work legally . which of course is supported.

The only question that is really supportive of what people are vocal about is about the 'amnesty' issue. And you can look it up. In every single other question the term used was illegal immigrant. In this question only they used Undocumented worker instead. Interesting eh.

Try conducting one somewhere else, and using real wording instead of trying to obscure the facts and see what people think
I guess supporting this lawmakessence, but in this law,how are they going to make people go back their origin countries to be able to apply green card prosses.(12-15 million)?
You are wrong, most Americans do NOT want to give millions of illegal immigrants amnesty. You liberals are going to be the death of this country if you get your way.
80% are against it. so that would leave 20% in favor? no your wrong and so is that report.
That's for the link
The biggest problem with the immigration reform, is everyone is trying to spin it in unrealistic ways.
first of all, a child born on US soil, is a US citizen, and did do it the legal way, regardless, of whether or not their parents are legal or not.
when you are talking "amnesty", that is what the concern is, not breaking up families to deport illegals, but people who make it strictly a partisan competition, want to deny this as a legitimate concern. the people who buy this nonsense are to self-centered to think about the big picture.

then you do have the people who are here illegally, that shouldn't be, and the only way to make sure it doesn't cost tax payers out the but, is to grant them amnesty in return for paying their fine, their taxes, and learning english; otherwise, we get stuck paying for rounding them up, jailing them, processing them, giving them a plane ticket, and processing them back in on the guest worker program.

either way, we either keep them here and keep the companies that employ them here, or we send them to mexico along with the companies that employ them.

either way, most Americans agree that the imigration policies need to be restructured ti slow the amount of immigrants into the country.well except for the GAo chief who gave a speech a while back on cspan to a republican majority, saying we needed to continue to allow them to come into the country or face industries with massive positions unfilled.
Ever hear of a "push poll"? Let me enlighten you. A push poll is a political campaign technique in which an individual or organization attempts to influence or alter the view of respondents under the guise of conducting a poll. Push polls are generally viewed as a form of negative campaigning. The term is also sometimes used incorrectly to refer to legitimate polls which test political messages, some of which may be negative. Push polling has been condemned by the American Association of Political Consultants. Typical push polling techniques polls citizens of a nation on a subject they are not familiar with due to extended stays, sometimes up to years, in a country not of their legal residence.

So the poll was answered by participants "all over the nation". Which nation? Their own or a nation they were in at the time of polling? This is typical push polling trick.
Did U know that the Green party, which is more to the left of liberal democrats is against illegal immigration too.for since we happen to have the largest consumption of resources, more like 30% of the planet,so actually being in more people here, even the low skilled workers, would mean at least several times the resource consumption than they would be if they were back let's say,Haiti, for exsample.we have too many human beings on this Earth as it is.we don't need too compound the pollution we create anyways. Maybe even the Green Party sometimes makes more sense to me than liberal democrats. The cost of sensitivity and compassion and just be too high sometimes.I can't see how any half smart person can support an amesty bill that just mainly supports the upper crust of American Society. I beleive they majority of middle america is with me on this one issue
Okay I'll say it. You're wrong and the whole article is certainly taken out of context having mentioned only two of those that were interviewed for you to try to prove your point. And also happens to be biased on the opinions of both Nathan Gonzales, a political editor, and silly air headed reporter Heidi Przybyla.

So NO TO AMNESTY. BYE BYE ILLEGALS.

p.s. Are you ranting? And are you aware that it is against YA's TaS, as well as their CG? Go ahead - tell me I'm wrong.
NO they don't. It's called government propaganda.
