Dual citizenship - Singapore and India?

One of my relative recently got the citizenship of singapore . But previously they were Indian citizenship. Is it possible for them to be both Singapore Citizen and India Citizen?

It's not possible at the moment for a person to hold dual citizenship as far as I'm aware. However, the Singapore government is still in the midst of contemplating whether in the longer term (maybe even years from now), dual citizenship should be allowed in light of the changes to the world economy and way of life.
