The INS gave me an I94 with conditions of No COS< AOS or EOS?

(Change of status, altering status or extenstion of stay) when I travelled into the USA from canada. My question is, my b2 visa expires in 2 weeks, if my american husband (we were married last week) applies for a spousal sponsership does that sponsership application lengthen my visa so I will legally be in the country while it is pending?

Answer:
You will have to go back to Canada. But don't worry, as long as all your paper work is in order and you follow the law (don't stay here illegally), then you should be able to return within six months.
your husband can apply for you and based on that application you might be able to apply for extension. Soley based on your husband probably wont work
If those are the conditions on the I-94 you'll have to leave before it expires and go back to Canada while the papers are processed.
