Mexican-Americans?
Answer:
That person would be American. American meaning you carry American Nationality. You can be an American national and still be proud of your Mexican heritage without calling yourself Mexican everywhere you go because first and foremost, you are American.
If a person is born in the USA they are a US citizen (American), not a "mexican".
no the person would be American only.
where one is educated has no bearing upon their citizenship or ethnicity.
Place of education does not determine that. Citizenship does.

Some murderers in the middle claim the name. but since they are petty thieves going around the world robbing the poor and raping and murdering, i don;t believe they are worthy of respect.
They have no dignity. Petty thieves. 650 000 people so you can have cheap oil!
They have schools in Mexico?

Beyond that, the individual is free to pursue his or her allegiances.
You didn't mention if the mother was in the USA legally. This is the difference.
There is no such thing as an American-Mexican. You are either American or Mexican or whatever other nationality. I have never understood why people feel it is necessary to use a hyphenated name to describe where their citizenship is at. You are either an American or you are not. Tell your children and grandchildren about your heritage.
I'm an American whose heritage is Cherokee, Scottish, Irish, Welch, British, English, American, etc. I would certainly have a lot of hyphens if I had to name all of the different countries my heritage is from. American is the right name for me as the USA is where I'm a citizen.
They are either Mexican or American...they can't be both because their loyalty will lie with their answer.
You all need to go down to south Texas and straighten out the white Americans. Anybody with brown skin is called a Mexican.
I have white friends that call anybody with dark skin, Mexicans even they Puerto Rican.
What is more amazing to me, is all the people on this forum. Who say there is no such thing as a white Mexican. What the hell do some think the spaniards are.The brown skin comes from Indian blood, not spaniards.
No they are an American who went to school in Mexico.
Lots of people attend school or universities in other countries.
Which I am sure can be a rewarding experience but doesnt imply some kind of citizenship.
It's up to the idividual person to decide what they will be. Loyalty being an important factor.
just paper work
