Hi..I filed for extending lenght of stay in US, more than a month ago, but until now I still haven't got any news nor the receipt letter from the immigration (though i knew that they did withdrawn my check as the fee, so that means that they received my documents right?). The thing is, I'm going to leave this country on May 22nd, next week. My lenght of stay was expired on April 23rd. So, what if until my depart I still haven't received any letter from the immigration? What am I supposed to do now? Thanks

My suggestion is try to get a lawyer to contact the USCIS, because if you over stay that is can cause your visa to be cancelled. If its a student visa that you are looking after , i strongly suggest that you go back home and get it there it is way faster and much easier that way.
