Can you use White-out on Forms for Immigration? I wrote a word wrong and corrected it with White-out IS IT OK?

Answer:
Yes, it's okay. We see White-Out all the time on these forms, and we know it's very difficult to get everything right on the first try. Don't fret. Just make the whole form as neat and tidy as you can.

The others who answered are confused: it's not all right to see White-Out on a finished official document, such as a visa or green card. The application is a completely different thing.
Never use white-out of 'official' forms because they will think you're trying to hide something.....
no it's not ok. never ever use white out or black out anything on govt papers. you would have been better off putting a line across the word. good luck with that one. they will think your hiding something or lying.
