Many Germans fled Germany during the war with Hitler.And many were targeted as Nazi's..Entire towns in this country targeted German people, simply because they were Germans.The sad part is, this country WOULD not allow Jews to come here and seek refuge from the war...
I know what you are saying. Most Germans (and most Europeans) speak English already. There has always been predudice in America. It is sad. My grandfather was born in Germany and was a naturlized citizen who fought with Teddy Rosevelt in The Spanish-American War. A war hero. During WW1 he couldn't get hired anywhere because he was German.Same thing in WW11.
