Can people over 75 renew their passport free?
Answer:
For a British Passport:
Note 4: applicants who were 16 years old or older at the end of World War 2 (that is, applicants born on or before 2 September 1929) are eligible for free standard 32-page ten year passports. Fast Track and Premium services will attract the difference between the standard passport fee of £66 and the fee charged for the enhanced service provided at the counter (for example, usual Fast Track fee is £91, less standard fee of £66– fee payable £25).
Wouldn't have thought so.
I doubt it, you don't get much for free in this world. Go to post office and ask, or check it out on the website.

Where do I apply for a No-Fee Passport?
The United States Government only issues these types of passports to individuals traveling abroad in connection with official employment. No fees are charged for the issuance of these passports. The type of passport issued is dependent on the purpose of travel or the Government Agency sponsoring the travel. Applicants for these types of passports should contact their respective travel offices for instructions on how to process these applications.
Military applicants should contact their installation travel office.
Federal Government Agency personnel should contact their Agency headquarters travel office.
Peace Corps should contact their travel office.
Department of State personnel should contact their Bureau Executive Office or Personnel Technician.
