Who are these people that are pro-illegal . . .?

I keep reading all these questions that elude to this pro-illegal support movement but I have yet to meet anyone (in my real life) that actually supports illegal immigration other than the illegal immigrants themselves. So who exactly are these people? Am I suffering from white isolation? And don't say the liberals because I'm a lefty and I still haven't met anyone . . .

Answer:
Your definition is too narrow. You really do know a "pro-illegal" or two.

The gray area: A "pro-illegal" may or may not want to deport everyone who is undocumented. They may or may not support the bill which was defeated. They may or may not agree that we need a 2300 mile border fence.

Defining criteria: A "pro illegal" is anyone who wants to treat "illegals" as something other than violent and dangerous felons. A pro-illegal understands that the offense is a misdemeanor. A "pro-illegal" would not support a large detention camp for all undocumented workers and their families, nor would they break up nuclear families unless absolutely necessary.

See, I bet you know a few people like that. But I also bet you don't know the extremists who use the label "pro-illegal" all the time..
It's like abortion. Nobody is "Pro-Abortion" (at least I hope not) but there are people who believe you have the right to have one. I don't think anyone is "Pro-Mexican-Invasion" yet there are people who believe there presence in the workforce is essential to our economy and that shipping them all back would not be humanitarian.
I actually saw one in the wild!

My best friend's brother-in-law actually had the balls to argue FOR the amnesty idea in front of my best friend's husband - who just got back from Iraq! Can't say I was upset when I watched her husband get into her brother-in-law's face. . .

But he has been the only one I have ever met/seen.
Nice to meet you . i'm one of them .... and you can meet about 10 of my "white" friends who are pro-immigration reform as well.
Charity,

I think you mean "allude" - it is ironically the illegal immigrant that is trying to "elude" authorities. I am one of those "pro-immigrant," free-market types who believes that America needs to be a country of opportunity for the oppressed. Our immigration laws are not designed with this in mind - they are designed to protect Americans from foreigners. If you truly "hold these truths to be self evident, that all [people] are created equal," I think you have to also believe that the liberties we have in America should be available to all. Most "illegal immigrants" aren't trying to break laws and act in a criminal manner - they are trying to take advantage of American freedoms that they do have in their countries. They suffer more than any American ever will. So I am in favor of finding a way for everyone to work to each other's benefit. It can be done!

And contrary to "Mz America's" assertion, I am neither a tree hugger nor of Mexican descent. I also am not seeking political gain. I'm just someone who realizes most of this world is an awful place, and people deserve the opportunity to have a better life.
Go to Chinese buffet, they are all illegal.
You probably know quite a few pro-illegals. Go to this post

Sorry to whoever I took this from, it is just so good I can't help but keep passing it on as often as possible, especially to government officials.
A good majority are people who dont even live in the infested areas, are mexican descent, are irrational tree huggers or are doing it for political gain.
Its pro- reform .
