You should always fight for your fellow Americans, just because you think your particular job would/will not be harmed by illegal immigration or any other issue does not mean that you should not stand up for the rights of your fellow countrymen. I have read posts from some who utter words such as illegal immigrants can not do my job so who cares... That would be called narcissism, we should be concerned for all of our people from the General Laborer all the way up to the CEO's. Any law or policy that harms OUR people should be stopped at all costs, end of story and education level or job title should never be a decisive factor.

Oddly enough (and this could be a case of extreme white isolation) the only people I know who support illegals are the illegals themselves. Exactly who are you talking about? I keep reading these questions that elude to this massive "pro- illegal" movement but I don't see anyone - other than illegals - who support it. So again - who are these people?
Actually, we are fighting for the rights of our fellow Americans. Rather few of the "illegals" are not Americans...they come from places like Mexico, Guatemala, Columbia.
Last time I checked, those are every bit as American as the United States.

It would be great, but they are stubborn and so are the conservatives in what they think is the right approach to immigration, amnesty and reform. So what's the answer? I don't have one except I think the government should enforce strongly the laws we do have in regard to immigration. If the border patrol doesn't pick up the illegals and do what it is they were hired to do, then what's the point? We MUST be very vigilant when we choose our candidates for the next election!
there is another way to look at this. The Pros helped raise the level of debate to a point where Joe average citizen got off his butt and became involved in the process. Yes. I agree we have a LOT of work to do with our homeless and our Vets that are living on the streets. That's going to take having the members of our Congress working together.and I just don't see that happening with this particular group. They are completely polarized. It's time for new faces in DC.

I don't support illegal immigration at all and I think they should start belittling the wall across the border so we can stop the immigration. But I do support illegals who really want to be part of our society, that's why they are fighting so hard for legalization.
