Apparently Bush was considering doing that until he got some complaints. But he's good at saying one thing and doing another.
I think they more less have to include all of them but the people pushing it are only concerned about one specific group. Heard any "outrage" when non-hispanics are deported? No. And they are.....in record numbers. But no-one ever says a word about them.
from what I have been told it is ONLY for the Mexicans..which has caused a huge uproar amongst other groups.......as well as a large percent of the military guys that have paid a huge amount to the government to be able to bring their wives over here from other countries............
Does not seem fair as I am spending a mini fortune to do it the RIGHT way and am in no way a drain on the US government................

Actually I would like to disagree with the first poster. I believe this wave of "anti-illegal immigration" is mostly against hispanics (mostly from Mexico). There are many many illegal immigrants here from England, China, etc but you never hear about them when people rant about immigration. All you hear is anti-hispanic rants. I think, personally, this wave of anti-immigration is nothing less than prejudice masked by policy.
It seems like it would be just for people from Mexico right? It appears that way because they are attached to California and they believe that it was "stolen" from them when all actuality it was not stolen at all. I think Bush is afraid of losing what control he feels he has on the situation and is willing to grant amnesty toward them now.
It is a sad, sad thing....hopefully it doesn't happen....

That aside, I don't believe that it is directed to any one group. I do think that certain groups because of their vocal rants, rude behavior, and shear numbers that instead of them becoming part of the society here demand that all bow to their way of speech have grabbed the glare of the spotlight.
But then - what to expect when you see on the front pages of papers and on the evening news people overtaking buildings, burning the American flag, chants of overtaking parts of the United States - tends to make people not to overjoyed with those of that particular race.
Looking in the evening papers and seeing all the drugs being brought into this country illegally doesn't make people too overjoyed either. Neither does the shooting of our citizens, the burden that mass numbers have placed on the school systems, the hospital closings, the tax burden that it has placed on tax payers. The school system that once was considered the best in the world lowered because certain people don't/won't attain to the set standards that others before them of many races have attained.
What this country is experiencing is people that are just getting tired of carrying a load that they shouldn't have to carry for ungrateful groups of people.

None of them should get amnesty! They are criminals every last one of them! And for those of you who disagree, does the USA not have a law against "Illegal Immigration" and did they not break that law? Breaking the law = criminal. Simple huh? I find it sad that in one of the largest cities in the USA, I am now a minority;however; if you discount all of the "Illegal Immigrants" I am back in the majority. That means that a huge % is not paying taxes, improving the quality of life, or contributing to a society and country they have no ties to.
