Our inflated standard of living and wages are why greedy American companies are moving to China and taking jobs with them. When illegal immigration plummets wages so low the US standard of living bottoms out, we may be able to economically complete with China. Until then, I say you should learn to use chopsticks and read Mandarin. They're progressing, and we're declining, much, much faster than you think.

The problem really is that our government look too far away. We forgot that accross our own backyard, we have a neighbor that needs tender loving care.

The concept of borders is esentially made up. The entire concept of nation states goes back only a few centuries and is a Western concept. Most of the borders that have been drawn have been accidents or people just putting lines in. They dont have any meeting. We have created the meaning.

Maybe you should not have used a communist country as your example in the question. Oh well. No, I don't believe we should have no borders. I do believe we should close our borders and deport all the illegals here now and prosecute the employers who hire them, and a whole lot of other things to combat illegal immigration because certainly they are bringing down the general overall standard of living in the USA.
