Chinese Immigration Question!?
The Chinese Exclusion Act had a loop hole which was that Chinese with relatives who were citizens were allowed to emigrate to the US. In 1943, the Magnuson Act was passed, which set a quota of 105 Chinese selected by the government, were allowed to immigrate to the US. Were people who had relatives who were American citizens counted as part of the 105, or where they in addition to the 105? Thanks
Answer:
105 AND family of existing citizens.
