It took a while to read all of the links.But what I gathered is that illegals (or undocumented workers) are paying into the federal tax system, and because they are not documented , it looks like they are not getting any returns for what they put into it for the same reason. My husband pays in approximately $10,500.00 in total taxes, SS, Health care, Dental, school tax, etc..and we maybe see $6-700.00 back at tax time. Looks to me like we are ALL getting screwed! As for the last link, I think you were trying to show that Hispanics make up a small portion of the criminals on death row, but I'm not sure if the statistics would mean something significant unless I knew the figures of how many are in the total prison population as a whole. I am assuming that there are more whites and blacks in the US than there are Hispanics, so I would need more info on that statisic. But, I was trying to and did see your point.

I think that it is good that they pay taxes (but more don't than do), but it still does not change the fact that they broke the law. My wife is a Legal Colombian Immigrant (I met her while doing some "work" for the US Army in Colombia) and it was a lot of paperwork and money to get her here legally...think of it this way Pablo Escobar (Colombian Cartel Leader) was loved by the people of Medellin because he gave money to the poor and gave people jobs...but what he did was still illegal...but what they pay in taxes will never cover the amount they take out...many may pay, but claim so many dependents that they have no money taken out of their checks...and then get refunds at the end of the year...I feel sorry for some of them, but then I remember when I was arrested in Mexico and how I was treated, then I think again...Illegal is Illegal...it can be done Legally...trust me...
