Would I have sympathy for murderers and thieves? Then why should I have sympathy for drug dealers -- rich or poor? Why should we have sympathy for lawbreakers who enter our country illegally and lie, cheat and steal from law-abiding citizens to get what they want at our expense? Aren't citizens entitled to a better life too? If illegals can break the law, then all citizens should be allowed to break all the laws and lie, cheat and steal, too. If we do that, then how is it a better life for anyone?

Whenever you say drug dealer people think drug pusher. It's not really a fair assessment of a dealer. Most drug users go looking for drugs and are not pushed into drug use. I understand your comparison, but unfortunately you and I are a small bread.
Because drug addiction kills people, destroys lives, and ruins communities in a more visible way than illegal immigrants. Though you might argue that illegal immigration ruins lives -through identity theft, job loss etc. that must be studied in a deeper way than what is clearly visible, and most people wont take the time to inspect things that closely, or to care about what is going on in the world if it doesnt directly affect them.
actually, no i dont know exactly how many murders are commited by illegal immigrants, enlighten me, and while youre at it let me know how many homeless people are drug addicts, let me know how many people kill and steal to feed their drug addiction and let me know how many people overdose annually leaving behind families to fend for themselves thus creating a cycle of crime to get by, i work at a rehab for minors, so i can see first hand that most of societies ills are created by drug use and addiction and while i understand the point that you are trying to make, i dont see how illegal immigration even compares to the ills created by drug dealers
There are many who do have sympathy. But going by the method those people are using to support their family, law comes first regardless of the unrightousness behind it. Morality and law does not mix.
I know all my drug dealers are just in it to put food on the table or to pay for lil Johny's iron lung ya right what after school special have you been watching? No offense to all my friends out there you guys provide a valuable public service but um I truly don't feel sorry for ya when you go to jail.

The only reason they are poor is because they are sorry, their is no difference between one law breaker or the other, just the act of the crime is different.
Because drug dealers don't work as hard as we illegals do. It is easy to stand on the corner and sell drugs but it is hard to do cleaning and lanscaping.
How many murders are committed by white people. How many of the white Americans get away with murder because they have money or just for being white.
