Because some people are just hateful bigots. That's just how they are. There is a group of people who go through hell and risk their lives trying to get into America so that they can work their asses off doing things that you and I wouldn't dream of doing for wages you and I could barely live on, so that they can give their families back home a chance at not being so damned impoverished. Sure, there are bad apples, and controlling immigration is our problem, but for the most part, I think that they have a hell of a lot more to offer society than the idiots who spew their stupid right wing hate speech on these forums.
Because they make up 1/3rd of the prison population.

I assume you are referring to the ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINALS? They aren't "less than human!" However they are criminals for breaking our laws and should be deported! They don't belong here. This has nothing to do with race - you brought up the race issue.

I can assure you if a crime was committed to them....they don't care if it's a parent who did it, or what the effect of their punishment is going to be on that family or their children. They act like they are the only ones who work hard but there's tons of educated Mexicans who have never picked a tomato either. Hard work isn't a trait that's reserved for hispanics. They act like the ONLY people who screw them over is "white" people when it's a huge number of slum lord hispanics, smugglers and their very own people who take advantage of them as well. There are vermen in every race who prey on the weak of every race. I'm sick of being smirked at when I have no ill will towards them as people. I just want my laws enforced and respected.
Hey....if they are going to change the laws where I can have chickens in a non-agriculture zone.....fine.......I don't mind chickens.....wouldn't mind fresh eggs myself. I do mind when we live next door to each other and you can have chickens and I can't. I get fined and you don't. It bothers me when I drive legally and have insurance and they don't. You don't think I'd rather not have to pay for it? Hey.....I don't like to pay taxes either. I'd much rather send money to my kids than Uncle Sam. They need it and would spend it much more wisely than the government does. If you can lie and not have to give certain documents.....why should I? If I have to provide a translator to serve you....then where's your English speaking person for me? If by law I'm supposed to be an equal oppertunity employer....then why aren't they forced to have a more diversified group of employees in their businesses? It's this huge double standard and different set of rules and laws. We're all playing the game of Life here. They have changed the rules again mid-stream and haven't bothered to pass us the new rule book. Can't play if you don't know the rules. We're just wanting the rules we've been given to be enforced. I don't think people think they are lower humans. Right now a lot of Americans don't like tax dollar services being used by ILLEGAL immigrants, not immigrants. So they're frustrated and say things disrespectful.
I don't think they're less than human - I really don't. They're trying to make it just like everyone else. I think its really ignorant and just sh!tty to think of anyone as less than human (unless they committed a heinous crime) or think they're better than anyone else. Try and put yourself in someone elses shoes.
I think everyone deserves a couple of immigrants.
It's not just one group singled out, the religion one has more hatred and intolerance than any I've seen. If people were face to face, I doubt they'd be so brave. I wish no one could participate in this unless they were accountable for their answers in some way other than thumbs up and down or report.

We don't see them as less than human. That is why we want them to go through the legal channels like all the honest people do.
Hispanic immigrants are not less than human. They are, however, illegal. That's breaking our law. Mexico has laws that we can't break, ergo, we have laws other countries should not break. Peace.

That is how they are able to ignore the plight of migrant workers, and the way people in this country continue to do business with hispanic countries whose corrupt leaders oppress their people.
It's a lot easier to ignore the guy who is willing to travel hundreds of miles just to pick fruit for a few cents an hour to send money back to his family if you don't think of him as human.

Well, think about the hateful and disrespectful attitudes of primarily Hispanic illegal immigrants. When you don't respect our laws and our rules, then how can you expect us to be respectful of you? You probably don't like the word, "Alien", but if you will look at the US Law, that is the term for immigrants -- Aliens! We citizens didn't label illegal immigrants or immigrants as Aliens -- the law did! Illegal is a term used for all lawbreakers -- an illegal act. Tell me how someone committing an illegal act deserves respect. If you want to be treated differently, then learn the language. Learn our culture. Don't separate yourselves from ordinary citizens. Obey the Law and don't try to turn the terminology used in our language into something it isn't. If you would learn English, you would understand that many of our words have more than one meaning and those meanings are not necessarily disrespectful. Do you think it's okay to call white people Gringo? Have you considered how offensive Hispanics are when they deliberately speak Spanish in public places and when they march and demand benefits that they are not entitled to? No apologies from this side of the fence.
We don't like people who use us, take advantage of our good nature and our willingness to help others, and who break our laws and then demand special dispensation to continue breaking the law while American Citizens are paying the price.
