Does a British citizen have the right of abode in India?
Answer:
No as a British Citizen you do not have either right of Abode or to Work in India. You would need to get the appropriate visa to work and stay in India.
But if you are of Indian Origin (x citizen of india or by inheritance) Then its is easier to either get a 15 year person of Indian origin visa or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India ) visa (Life Long) , both will enable you to rights similar to ROA.
