What are other ways in order to go to US to work despite that USCIS reached its cap for FY2008?

I was offered work in the US last April 20, 2007. However, the USCIS reached its cap last April 30, 2007. My employer is asking me what are some other ways they can get me there sooner? Please give me some suggestions and means on how to get there sooner? Your help will be highly appreciated.

there are reasons for caps, and that cap reached then it over for 2008.
Maybe get a lawer to get you here legally.
