I have been trying to get disabilty,& Have recently been denied,i have sent off my appeal paperwork, Do i?

really need an attorney?

Answer:
If your appeal is denied then you can apply again, I would suggest if your appeal is denied that you contact Legal Aid in your area and they will help you file without the expense of an attorney taking his cut.
Maybe you just need to get a job.
if they turn you down you might want to get an attorney, you will also need dr's reports on your disability. i do know you can get it faster if you have mental problems. good luck.
If your appeal is denied, then it might be in your best interest to get a lawyer. Your next step will be a hearing before a judge. It is much easier to get through this with a lawyer helping you. You don't have to pay the lawyer until you win your case.
My friend got disabiltiy for a medical condition a couple of years ago. It was hard to get but she had doctors reports ect.she had to get an attorney to help her. good luck..
Attorneys will take 1/3 of your payment if they win. If you are truly disabled, you should be able to get your benefits yourself. Keep fighting. Have your doctor(s) write letters stating your disability more clearly if possible.
