Was Matt talking about the Mexicans in this statement?
The Bible, Matthew 7: 6
Answer:
I think he was talking about anyone who is disrespectful and doesn't see the kindness behind giving a gift. I would say he was talking about many illegals that I have met in one way, while speaking of corporate America and there big wig CEOs in another. Anyone who takes what they are given and throws it away because they feel they deserve more is included in this statement.
Are you????? It seems really bad to use a biblical scripture to dis Mexicans. I think a lightening bolt may come your way be careful!
im not religious but i dont think he was talkin about mexicans. im not sure, i never read the bible.
Sounds more like he is talking about our so called president.
well when the bible was written there were pretty much two races that we know of...asian/pasific islander and Arab. Something makes me think that mexicans didn't "exist" per say.
Mexico didn't exist as a country. I think he was speaking of Philistines.
You have reached an all time low.. may God have mercy on your soul.
No ."Some think this verse refers to evangelism: Christians who dispense the priceless pearls of God's redemptive plan should be careful about giving ammunition to those who would enjoy denouncing the truth. Others, however, believe this is common sense advice to preserve the lives of believers in a hostile world: They should guard themselves and the things they teach from being trampled underfoot by scoffers."
I am hoping this was a true bible study question. If so I would highly recommend buying a NIV study bible. They have these good quotations in the sidebar to help explain a lot of the passages. It makes bible study much easier.
