Most agree if business that hire illigals, would be penalize both in jail time and fines, the problem would?

solve it's self.
So here is my plan. First when we apprehend an illegal the first time, we ofter them the opportunity to sue their employer for back wages, especially if they are paid of the books, any monies collected would go to the illegal to take home with them. How many employers would want go to court and have to defend themselves and risk losing. Then if the employers are found a second time guilty, they would have to share a jail cell with the an illigal that also was a two time loser. This way the employer would get to know their employers.

Answer:
I think if an employer is caught hiring an illegal of any race they should get fined severaly from not only the government but also workers comp, general liablity, city/county that they are working in, and a nice tax audit. The employers that do this also cause our insurance rates to skyrocke. the illegal should be deported.all parties involved should face a punishment. Now what about the homeowners (private residence) that hire them to do odd jobs around the house, thses cause contractors to loose business. Private residence homeowners should also face a fine with not only the government but also the city/county they work in. Its not just commercial that aids them in working its our own neighbors also.saying only business owners are responsible for this isnt acurate.its cheaper to hire a illegal to paint your house than hire a licensed painter, so you see this goes both ways. Anyone who aids in the work of illegals should be punishable!
why don't we just fine the employeer and deport the illegal?
Companies that hire illegals do get charged a fine.
America was and is being built by illegals (and slaves), it's the legals that are after your job!
Don't you have enough jobs, how many do you need?
You are just putting more money in the hands of the lawyers!
we already fine them, what you will do is not succeed in doing anything other than putting us back to pre 1986 when immigrants worked under the table and didn't pay tax.
We shouldn't tie up the courts with more frivolous lawsuits brought by illegal aliens. However, if citizens who applied for jobs during the term of employment of illegal aliens sued for discrimination, I would support that. Deport the illegal aliens. Fine and/or incarcerate the employers, also community service for employers. Let them pick up trash and clean out ditches wearing those orange vests for a few hundred hours.
If you knowingly hire you should get fine and prison, even the people who pick them up from Home Depot for home repairs.

It will go a long way toward solving the problem, in fact most of it.
we already have laws that fine the employer.but i find where i live, that the problem is most illegalls have no problem getting false documentation, alot of times the employer is completely unaware.... mainly illegalls found working here, where the employer does know, would be in the construction and landscaping fields....however, i still blame our government, for weak policies and lacking border security, if they werent here in the first place, THEN the problem would solve itself.....think about it like this..if me and you snuck over to mexico, right now, and demanded money for our children,a job, housing, and equal treatment..then we started waving the american flag around and protesting...we would probly be beat, or shot.., or locked up
If we jail the employers there won't be any jobs and the illegal alien criminals will HAVE to leave.
