I will marry a US citizen. Please read our plan, is this a good and feasable one?

I am a Dutch citizen living in the Netherlands. My fiancee (a US citizen) and I want to get married in August in the US. We want to live together directly. Can I travel to the US, get married, apply for a (temporary) greencard, and stay in the US with my wife? Can I travel as a tourist, do I need to inform US immigration (before flying towards my love) that we are getting married? Is applying for a fiance-visa a good choice?
I know these are many questions to answer. The most important thing is that I want to move to the US in August, and I want to stay there and live with my wife-to-be! Is that possible? Thanks in advance for your thourough answers!

Answer:
Although your plans are not the legal route...some parts of it will be effective.
You can come to USA as a tourist...marry A US citizen, and you will be allowed to stay while you go through the process of becoming legal.
However, you will not be given a green card, which permits you to WORK in the USA.

It is unfortunate that it is so difficult to immigrate legally to the USA ... and so easy to immigrate illegally.
One would be foolish to immigrate to USA through the proper channels.

I think someone will comment after me... If he starts off by saying "Don't listen to these people" and uses an unconventional means of transportation... Don't listen to him.
If you go on a tourist visa to the US and get married that is illegal. Doesn't mean that people don't do it all the time though. You need to go to the nearest US Embassy and file papers with them. They can tell you the proper way to do it, if you want to do it legally.
I'm with SoCalGirl, contact the US embassy, they should be able to help. Best of luck, and congratulations!
If you want to get married to a US citizen, it will be much easier for you to get married in the Netherlands. After the wedding, you and your wife will need to go to the Legal Office if you have one and help you sort out your Green Card/Alien Visa issues if they will do it.

Congrats and good Luck with the wedding.
If you want to marry in August then apply for a fiance visa, if your fiancee and you have the resources to move to the USA, go ahead.
Apply for a fiancee visa, get married, then adjust your status.
Do not come as a tourist if you plan to marry, officers may be suspicious if they find out about it. Just come as her fiancee.
You can do it.
