Why are millions of mexicans allowed illegal in the USA which is unfair to legal immigrants obeying the rules?
Because of these illegal mexicans it is harder on the people who do come into the country legally and get green cards.
When I am in town and I see a mexican couple the woman is usually pregnant and has three or four kids all ready.
Also, why don't the government make it a law that if you come into the US you have to speak english. I hate it when I go to town and hear a bunch of spanish.
I do like to hear foreign languages. It is one thing for mexicans to speak spanish but it should only be in their homes. My husband for instance is German and when he came to America he spoke english very well. When, he calls his family over seas he talks to them in German but that is in our apartment. No one else hears it.

That is the reason for the hot debate, as we speak. Most immigrants have to apply for U.S. citizenship, and that generally takes quite awhile to obtain. The Mexicans are a border country, and have taken it upon themselves to cross into this country illegally, and impose themselves on the welfare system, and the medical system, just to name a few.
The liberals in Congress want to keep these illegals. They don't openly admit this, but their actions speak loudly. The reason is, they want the Latino vote. For some reason, these illegals are able to vote for government officials. The shear numbers could determine an election. No politician is going to admit this, but it's definitely true. What other reason could it be? The illegals are sapping our economy, what good are they doing?
The comment is always made, "Mexicans do jobs that Americans refuse to do, and we ought to be grateful." Well, they also go into the welfare system and take from it , and they contribute nothing to it. Also, they utilize our medical system, never paying the bills. No American can go into the hospital for free, for the most part. We have to pay somehow. Mexicans? They don't. Where is the fairness there?
Generally, when an immigrant comes to another country, they try to assimilate into that society. Mexicans do not, for the most part. They want society to assimilate to them, which is not how things work.
So this is going to be a hot social, and political debate for years to come.

Lets be reasonable...we let them come to this country, especially in early 80s. The reason for this was to supply cheap labor and bust the organized labor (unions). It worked well...now that we have very little unionized labor force we no longer need the Mexicans...makes sense.lets get rid of them..

well the gop loves that cheap labor and the dems can't wait to grant them amnesty and make them voting democrats. it's only the common usa citizen that wants something done, but they don't have much power.
umm. illegal means NOT legal. It's not that they are being "allowed" here it's just that deporting "millions of mexicans" is virtually impossible.
as a person paying thru the nose to be here legally I personally find it a bit of a smack in the face that when amnesty etc is spoken about it is ONLY for the illegal Mexicans, nothing against them as a people in any ways BUT for instance we had medicals this week at a cost of $175.00 per person..along with all the other wads of money we have paid JUST to be here with my husband [us navy] yet at the same time as we are working on a time crunch factor it is being debated that umpteen thousand people be given it for free....hardly seems fair......and I come with a masters, full medical insurance, and own my own house so its not like I am actually going to be a drain on the USA.

Under the Federal Immigration Laws here in the USA, illegals are not allowed in the USA as they are criminals.
The Feds arent doing their jobs by enforcing the US Immigration Laws.
Everyday, border patrol agents are attacked by illegals who try to kill them. We need to put a stop to this.

You answered your own question. You see them and she is pregnant with an "anchor baby". The constitution, as it has been interpreted, allows the parents of a child born in the US to stay because the child is a citizen. And where would you rather get medical care anyway?
LOL We DO have a law about being able to speak English, but if you're going to come here illegally, why follow the speaking English law?
Deporting them all is impossible. As long there is a strong demand for labor that no one seems to want to do, they will come. I believe immigrants should learn english but there's nothing wrong with them speaking their native language in public.

Wow Candy, you are just like all the illegals. All the illegals have a master degree or higher. You are right it is very unfair.
We need to start enforcing our laws and deporting the illegals!
For the same reason the Native Americans didn't stop the millions of European invaders coming to the American continent: no one can stop it.
Enough with this "unfair to legal immigrants" foolishness. I certainly agree with argument but not one of you actually care about the legal ones any more than the illegal ones. The idea of either never actually enters your head unless you are told to care. And you are only told to care because the Republicans f*cked up our economy and are trying to shift the blame. Immigrants were the easiest target.
And at one time it was every immigrant, both legal and illegal. But then all of you got hit with the racism card and so you modified your attack to limit the racism attack ("we are all right with the legal ones, but not the illegal ones because we care for the law"). How many of you go 5 over the speed limit (even 1 over is breaking the law; just because they let you get away with it doesn't change the fact you broke the law--but how many of you care about that; and in fact how many of you get ticked at the police when they do enforce it?).
Then we head to the English only argument. I might remind you that when you speak English, no one in America understands you. We don't speak English in America anymore. We've adopted so many words from so many languages (Spanish more than any other at that) that our language doesn't sound like English anymore. And when did speaking a language become a "crime," like speaking it is on par with smoking marijuana.
And d*mn those people for pro-creating. Only humans were supposed to become many and fill the earth, right Christians? Please. God gave the land to humans (all humans) and did not separate us out when giving us this gift. How can you justify taking God's gift away from them solely because they weren't born between two arbritrary border lines (lines we set up with war and death--so you know how much God is fond of that).
Rather than attack the Government start looking at your own morals. Why do they only come into play when the government tells you to care? And why do they go the route the government tells you to take them? Legality (human law and morality) and morality (God's law) are not the same thing. Stand up under God's morality, not human law with its failings.
