I want to help him without him getting deported?

I'm a US Citizen, I married a mexican guy, he is here illegally, I want to help him so bad . I want him to be safe and ok. He is so smart. He doesn't drink or anything. All he does is work, work and work. I've heard that some people are getting deported just because of filing an application. Does anyone know what I can do to help him.

Answer:
If you married him he won't be deported unless he commits a crime. Contact the State Department they will help you.
First get an immigration lawyer. They will help you get and fill out the proper paperwork in a proper way. Good Luck!
he can't get deported cause you married him, only if he commits something really bad
Since you're legally married (in the United States, I assume), he could be able to apply for citizenship. So long as he has no criminal histories, that is.
If you married him he will have to go back to Mexico for nine months and come back with a visa he will get by you sponsoring him.
Now that you're married you can file a petition for him, but I think he can still get deported. I think once they accept the petition he has to leave the country for who knows how long and the bad thing is that they may punish him & not allow him to enter the States for 10 yrs. I know people in this situation & this is what they told me. Get an attorney.
Go back to Mexico with him. You are aiding and abetting a criminal and you deserve to go to jail. The law is the law and you have no right to disobey the law any more than your illegal husband.
You can help him out by sending him home to his country, having him fill out the needed forms, and enter this country legally. Look, you just taught him responsibility and his first lesson in understanding and respecting our laws. If the wait is too long and starts to tear you apart from your "mexican guy", you can always join him in Mexico and wait with him. That would be true love, and while you are away, maybe you will start to respect the laws of this country as well.
Contact an attorney. Some are pro-bono if you cannot afford one. If you married him, he might be able to get permission to stay while his paperwork is being processed.
Get married with him.
