New Zealand and Australia?
Answer:
I didn't think so at first, but I looked it up, and apparently all you need is a residence permit. At least according to the New Zealand embassy's website: http://www.nzembassy.com/topic.cfm?cfid=...
I live in the USA and I can't just pack up and move to Canada and get a job without a passport, visas, paperwork, etc. but maybe it's different for Australia and New Zealand.
I suggest you call the embassy and ask... ( Phone number: +61 - (0)2 - 9223 0144) . You don't want to end up without anywhere to live when you move out of your house/apartment in Australia and then can't get to New Zealand after all... It's always best to have all your bases covered and make sure everything is gonna work out.
You can check out that website above for all the information you need to know about living, working, customs requirements, vaccinations, and even driving in New Zealand (your Australian driver's license is only good for 12 months)
Good luck!!
Kia ora,
well, my Australian colleagues never mentioned any traumatic paperwork experiences necessary for coming here, and they still like it here, go figure... Funny, because we always think Australians are so lucky to have it so nice and warm most of the time. Anyway, I'm getting sidetracked.
