This whole bill being proposed is BS! It got shot down TWICE last week, and those idiots Bush/Kennedy, are going to bring it back? Makes me wonder what he promised the other Senators in their SECRET meeting?

This is just one of those "unknowns" that make this bill so dumb.Another question, what if when they leave and then return, will they still even have a job waiting?
From my understanding,they only have to "touch back" to their home country to fill out the paper work. It would only take a matter of a day or two.

Very good question! Why would you send the bread winner OUT of the country for an indefinate period of time and expect them (the unworking mom to survive with her babies?) Does this make sense? Just about the time you prove yourself to be a good worker..you have to leave for and indefinate period of time and then wait for the answer) Hell..If I was illegal.I wouldn't go for this ****!!! I don't disagree with this because I'm an anti..I think this is friggin insane no matter who it's for!!!

I'm sorry...I no more think it's OK to screw people that have been here for 25 years abiding by the things we thought were laws that weren't than the other things I see going on. How many people played by the rules with pensions..then when they get there.woops.we screwed up and you loose. I really don't beleive most of these people came here to be career criminals. Am I crazy? 5 years. Whether it be tourist, student, worker..5 years..stay or go.criminal,,,,,5years. you can pick-up at 5.you can't at 12 or 15.
