With the defeat of the immigration bill, immigration reform is dead in the water. Nothing will change. Those 12 million or so who have been hiding out and keeping a low profile can now return to business as usual. It is back to the status quo...
Foolish Americans - who think it is possible to FIND, ARREST and DEPORT 12-20 million people...it is impossible. We can't even find the "FBI Ten Most Wanted" or "Americas Most Wanted". How do you suppose one can find millions and millions of people who do not want to be found?... Who obtain false documents from the criminal gangs who supply them.
Those here illegally can now continue obtaining false documents from those crooks who supply them - it is a multi-million dollar business for organized crime and street gangs. They can continue to merge in to the society unimpeded. Those that have been hesitating can now hop the border and start the process all over again.
Nothing will change now.nothing! At least the bill, which was not perfect, would have been a start - a step in the right direction...
In their haste to highten their bigotry and prejudice, some Americans have missed the whole point - and have not thought the situation out.
Who will find these people and how? When found, where will they be held? If held, who is going to process them. If processed, who is going to pay to send them home and by what means of transportation. How many buses, planes trains is it going to take?
Nothing will change now.or in the near future...
